In alignment with the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat, IIT Kharagpur formally launched the Impact RISE Conclave at Kalidas Auditorium. The launch brought together faculty, innovators, and industry leaders to announce the January conclave and position it as a collaborative platform for translating research into large-scale, measurable national impact.

The conclave will unite academia, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and NGOs at IIT Kharagpur Research Park to co-create a vibrant ecosystem for innovation. Through this collaboration, we will establish an integrated support pathway - spanning seed grants, mentorship, and acceleration - enabling ideas to evolve into impactful, scalable ventures.
A key outcome of the conclave will be the creation of a launchpad for new businesses - bridging the innovation ecosystem and enabling ideas to evolve into impactful ventures. Through accelerator programs, seed funding, and strategic industry mentorship, the conclave will establish a holistic ecosystem to support startup growth.
Through the signing of Memorandums of Understanding with leading corporates and NGOs, the conclave will advance the RISE mission-Research, Innovation, Skilling, and Entrepreneurship. These MoUs will mark a decisive shift from dialogue to action, establishing long-term collaborative frameworks with industry and government to drive sustainable, large-scale impact.
