Under the aegis of the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is a project of Ministry of Education initiated by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati
and Roorkee) along with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2003, to provide quality education to anyone interested in learning from the IITs/IISc. These are targeted for wider dissemination about courses
being offered and to acknowledge the contribution of top performing Swayam-NPTEL local chapter colleges. The NPTEL SPOC Workshop 2024 East Zone Workshop will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur on 24th August 2024 at
IIT Kharagpur Research Park, New Town Kolkata 2024 for local chapter colleges from the states of Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and other Northern Eastern States and A&N Islands.
About 220 participants comprising the Heads of the Institutions, Single Point of Contacts (SPOC) and other faculty members from more than 200 local chapter colleges will be participating in this one-day workshop
and also we will be felicitating NPTEL STAR Awardees for their accomplishment and creating a benchmark for others to have the passionate of learning
